About the Design Internship
Visceral seeks an aspiring designer eager to forge a creative career in digital and brand design. As an intern, you are ready to roll up your sleeves and jump in wherever needed, including contributing design ideas, collaborating with our creative team, assisting in website buildouts, and conducting design research. Most importantly, you want to learn and believe in the power of great design to move people.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Report to the Chief Creative Officer
- Collaborate with our creative team to solve novel design challenges
- Create design concepts for websites and visual identities
- Participate in discovery activities and design research
- Help our team maintain our portfolio of client and internal websites
- Handle production tasks such as image production, website layouts, and other fundamental work
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
What You’ll Bring
You must have:
- Design education (either a completed degree or pursuing a degree) related to design or related fields
- A portfolio that demonstrates your design skills
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Creative Cloud apps
- Impeccable communication and organizational skills
- The desire to collaborate and continuously learn
- An ability to effectively manage your time around multiple projects
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and WordPress is a plus
