Introducing Misha Trombley

Dana Jensen • Project Manager

It’s an exciting time here at Visceral: The holidays are approaching, we’re busy crafting some incredible products that we can’t wait to reveal, and our team is growing!

We are thrilled to introduce out newest developer—Misha Trombley. I sat down with her to ask a few fun questions, so now you have no excuse for not knowing her favorite happy hour drink or what Hogwarts house she’d be in.

What is your favorite book?
It’s a tie: Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, and East of Eden by John Steinbeck

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
Definitely the ability to fly

What’s your go-to karaoke song?
Total Eclipse of the Heart

What’s your favorite season and why?
Fall! (although we only get so much in San Diego) – mainly for wearing scarves and boots.

What’s your favorite happy hour drink?
Whiskey sour (no egg)

What’s your biggest guilty pleasure?
Obnoxious pop-punk music

What Hogwarts house are you in?

What’s your favorite movie?

The most exciting place you want to travel to right now
More of the U.S! There is so much within this country to explore. The top of my list includes Nashville, Austin, and Yosemite.

Dog or cats?

What is your perfect pizza?
Olive, ham, and pineapple (I stand on the side of pineapple being the best pizza topping ever)

What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play?
I love going to baseball games. As far as playing… I like running races (I’m not super athletic)

What is the one website that you cannot live without?
Probably reddit. Everything is there.

What is your favorite tech at the moment?
Task runners (like gulp and grunt) are pretty amazing. These tools have such a large impact on development for the better. They allow me to optimally work with other systems, like SASS!

What do you do in your free time?
Travel, run and hike, read, and code!

What is your favorite part of working at Visceral so far?
The team, definitely! As well as the clientele and creative atmosphere.
